Malibu Home For Sale Heads To Auction

Looking for a deal on a Malibu home for sale? You can go with the REO, short sale, bak owned route and maybe gain nothing but a headache. OR you can show up at an auction and try to walk away with a great deal. A home for sale in the private, gated community of Ramirez Canyon is heading for Auction on May 22. The opening bid is $1.9m and I bet the bidding will take it above that. Still, there is a good chance someone will get a great dal on a house with almost 5600 sq.ft. on roughly an acre of ocean view land. Malibu Real Estate Market Heats Up!

There has been a lot of activity on the short pay, bank owned, foreclosure properties this week in Malibu. One home came on the short pay list at $2.2m with over 6000 sq.ft., ocean views, and 3 acres of very usable land. The home received multiple offers and my guess is that it will close above asking. Another condo located right above the water at Zuma Beach came on the market at under $1m. It too received multiple offers too.
